Adelaide Control Engineering are pleased to be working alongside Urtek on the development of its PhosEnergy process pilot plant. Urtek, a partnership between industry leaders Cameco and Uranium Equities Limited, are on the cutting edge of uranium extraction technology. Their innovative recovery process, the PhosEnergy process, facilitates the recovery of uranium as part of the manufacture of phosphate fertiliser. With the ability to be integrated into existing phosphoric acid facilities, as well as low operating costs, a high level of uranium recovery and reduced environmental impact, the PhosEnergy process is ground-breaking technology that taps into a hitherto unexploited resource.Adelaide Control Engineering will be assisting Urtek with the design and production of its pilot processing plant with pilot plant trials to commence in 2011. |
