Nick Medder – Principal Electrical Engineer

Nick has had 15 years of experience in the manufacturing, food and beverage, power generation and mining industries as an electrical engineer.

As Senior Electrical Engineer at the GMH Elizabeth vehicle manufacturing plant he was involved in the planning and design of systems for the control and monitoring of continuous manufacturing processes and also represented the Elizabeth plant on GM global control and robotic technical councils.

Coupled with this technical experience Nick has well-developed project management and people skills developed through a combination of post-graduate studies and real world experience in managing projects of high technical complexity involving a variety of disciplines.

 

Since joining ACE Nick has undertaken the design of infrastructure and equipment, including motor control and protection systems and instrumentation. This has included the specification of the interfacing requirements for vendor-supplied equipment and overseeing the development and testing of the PLC-based control systems.
